dig up the soil use the drill with the garden auger you will sweat given the state of the ground in our yard hard and clay-like rocks tucked down deep gently remove the baby plant from its pot try not to tear the roots they are fragile lovingly place it in the hole pat fresh soil around and over the top water gently every single day maybe more on the super hot ones when the heat threatens to parch the ground it needs to grow pull the surrounding weeds with vigor do not be timid it needs care and attention and time and so much love to stay green and fresh to grow is this a plant? or a marriage? or a child’s heart? Yes
